前人的总结：

• 填DS-160会花点时间，但您不需要第一次就填完和马上提交。可以先填完DS-160的第一页，保存Application ID，预约好面谈的城市后再慢慢填写剩下的DS-160内容(但要在面谈前和第一次填写30天内提交)

• 可以预约好面谈的城市后再提交。否则如果您先提交DS-160，但预约不到DS-160上填写的理想的墨西哥城市的话，要再填一份包含预约好的面谈城市的DS-160.

• “缴费后，除了签证的类型不能改，名字，DS-160号码，签证城市等等都可以改。想换城市的话先写好DS-160，然后取消预约, 改DS-160号码, 再重新预约就好了, 虽然DS-160写的跟去的城市不一样也给签, 保险还是一致比较好, 反正在国内不一致肯定签不了, 墨西哥松一些”.

• “曾经有人DS-160填的是Guadalajara，ASC(打指纹, 照相)在Mexico City，面签在Tijuana，全程完全没问题，最好确认页用西班牙语打印，方便工作人员操作”.

• You need DS-160 for every family member who needs to attend visa interview, you can start DS-160 for 1 location in Mexico, and finish fee payment & after booking dates – Later you can submit to the location where you can find visa dates

• DS-160 once created is valid for 30 days, Once submitted is valid until whenever you attend visa interview (as long as no info changes until you attend Visa interview)

• Once DS-160 is submitted, if you have new changes in DS-160, you can simply submit new DS-160 & take it to ASC, let’s say, you already paid your Visa fee and booked Visa dates, something got changed / entered by mistake & you need to enter new details. Simply create new DS-160 and carry with you to ASC, once they scan your new DS-160 at ASC, old details gets replaced with your new ds160 details in their system

• You can use the same DS-160 & same visa fee payment to attend visa interviews at any location in Mexico.  Your fee payment is valid for 1 year & tied to your profile, but not to DS-160

• If you filled DS-160 for one location & paid visa fee for that location & if you don’t get Visa dates for that location. With same ds160 & same visa fee payment you can go and attend at any other location in Mexico for Visa interview by just changing Visa interview dates to that location by using reschedule option and changing passport delivery location (Nothing else to do)

• If you have already booked dates, You can click “HOME” and click the reschedule option any number of times and can keep checking for better visa dates until you find better ASC / Visa dates that you are looking for.  If you already booked some dates – those dates won’t get affected until you finalize something after you click reschedule option
